Pastors' and Spouses Retreat Report

On January 16 to 18, 2009 our District Pastors, Pastoral staff and spouses met together at Cedar Springs retreat centre in Sumas, Washington for a weekend of renewal and reflection. Dr. Riley Coulter, Ambrose Chancellor, was the speaker and students from Ambrose University College did a wonderful job as they led us in times of worship. Our theme was centered around the idea that God is our HOME. The retreat is situated in such a beautiful setting it makes it easy to reflect on God’s presence and to experience renewal. The pastors and spouses enjoyed a chance to connect with and support one another in a weekend that is particularly designed to free them from their usual responsibilites and pressures. We are looking forward to 2010.
